TIPS FOR CONSIGNING

  • Stains (please check the underarms)
  • Pulled threads
  • Pilling
  • Missing buttons
  • Broken zippers
  • Faded
  • Pet hair
  • Deodorant marks

GUIDELINES FOR ACCEPTING ITEMS

We accept items Tues/Wed 12pm – 5pm & Thurs/Fri 10am – 5pm. If you have less than 25 items we may be able to sort through them while you wait. If the number of your items exceed 25, we may ask you to leave them with us to go through and we will contact you when it’s completed.  If you do not want what we do not take back – we can email you with the number of items kept and the number of items donated on your behalf.

The consignment period is 60 days.  Pricing, markdowns, and periodic sales are at the discretion of Echo Consignment Boutique.  You have the choice to be paid out if items sell in which case you would receive 40%.  You may also choose to receive store credit if your items sells in which case you would receive 60% of the selling price during the entire term on the floor.

February 1st - Stop Winter/Start Heavier Spring Items/Start Prom
What that means:  No longer accepting heavy coats, winter sweaters, and corduroy.  Will continue to accept light to mid-weight jackets & sweaters in Spring colors.  Begin bringing in your formals for Prom season.

March 15th - Stop Heavy Spring/Start Light Spring
What that means:  No longer accepting heavy Spring sweaters or mid-weight jackets.  Will continue to accept light-weight jackets (including denim) for the rest of the year.  Although we accept short sleeves & long sleeves year round, we will begin our focus on Spring colors for these items.  We will also begin accepting Capris.

May 1st - Stop Spring/Start Summer/Stop Prom
What that means:  Our focus shifts towards short sleeves, sleeveless, tanks, halter tops, and shorts in brighter colors.  We will also accept swimwear if the tags are still on the garments & they have never been worn.  Although we are no longer accepting Promwear, it's a great time to bring in formals that can be worn for pageants or cruises.

August 15th - Stop Summer/Start Fall
What that means:  We will no longer accept shorts, halter tops, and extreme "summery" type items.  Our focus shifts towards back-to-school & we begin looking for lighter Fall items including lighter sweaters & light to mid-weight jackets.  We will continue to take heavier capris/crop pants, short sleeves, light long sleeves, and sleeveless items (although our focus will shift towards items you can layer).

August 31st - Stop Capris

November 1st - Stop Fall/Start Winter
What this means:  We are transitioning into full winter wear with heavier sweaters, coats, and cords. We currently do not accept fur and faux fur coats.
